Serpent Amphora
Art and Cartography ContestWell, here it is, folks. A gallery of not only the winners, but all of the entries in this contest, available here for your perusal and use in running the Serpent Amphora adventure, free for download here. And so, without further ado
Art Contest Winner, Black & White
This picture, a piece by Alexander White, shows a close up of the Red Witch Slitheren called Storm of Blood. Frankly, this is an amazing piece, managing to show the cunning and ferocity of this villain.
Art Contest Winner, Color
This piece, by Adriana Loera takes place during the climactic final battle. Just before the storm hag Hielaa descends on the poor PCs, Chardun sends a pair of his winged, spike-whip-wielding devils to distract her from her purpose, allowing the PCs the time they need to recover the Amphora.
Cartography Contest Winner
This map, elegant in both its artistic depiction of the village of Trela and in the useful information it contains (both in the form of Trela's stat block and inset maps of some of the important areas in the village), was created by Tim Hitchcock.
Congratulations, winners! You will be receiving free copies of Serpent in the Fold, the first adventure in the Serpent Amphora Cycle.
The Gallery
What follows is the rest of the artwork and cartography we received, in no order other than that which we received it in. Thanks to all of our artists! And remember, even if you didn't technically win the contest, our art department may very well be in contact with you for work. Because there are so many, we have linked to them individually rather than displaying them all on one page.
